I studied Korean Language and Literature and Computer Science and Engineering at Korea University. Drawing on both linguistic and computational perspectives, I am interested in how language models understand, retrieve, and reason with language. I am especially interested in how AI systems reflect patterns in human language use and cognition, and I hope to study trustworthy and efficient language model systems from this perspective, with a focus on retrieval-augmented generation, adaptive reasoning, and AI safety.
